Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park - Nairobi
After an early breakfast at 7:00 AM, check out of your hotel/lodge and head to Lake Nakuru National for a morning game drive, when wildlife is often most active.
You will begin your exciting game drive through one of Kenya’s most renowned wildlife sanctuaries where you will explore different sections of the park while searching for animals and enjoy the beautiful scenery as the morning unfolds.
The park is famous for its alkaline lake, picturesque acacia woodlands, open grasslands, and impressive populations of endangered rhinos.
During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to see:

- Lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas

- Scenic viewpoints overlooking the lake and surrounding landscapes
Your guide will make strategic stops for wildlife viewing, photography, and provide fascinating insights into the park’s ecosystem, wildlife behavior, and ongoing conservation efforts.
You will then visit some of the park’s most scenic viewpoints, including Baboon Cliff or Lion Hill, offering spectacular panoramic views of Lake Nakuru and the surrounding Rift Valley landscape. Continue your wildlife adventure with opportunities to observe wildlife and a rich diversity of bird species.
After your morning exploration at 12:00 PM, exit the park and begin your journey back to Nairobi with a stop en route for a self-sponsored lunch.
