After an early breakfast at 7:00 AM, check out of your lodge and embark on a morning game drive through different sections of Tsavo East National Park. Visit some of the park's most renowned wildlife areas, including The Galana River, Aruba Dam, and expansive savannah plains, where animals frequently gather to drink.
During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to see:
- Large herds of the famous red elephants of Tsavo
- Lions, leopards, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas
- Buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, impalas, and other antelope species
- Hippos and crocodiles along rivers and waterholes
- A rich variety of birdlife across the park's diverse habitats
Your experienced guide will make strategic stops for wildlife viewing and photography while sharing fascinating insights into the park's wildlife, history, and conservation efforts. The morning hours provide excellent opportunities to spot wildlife and numerous bird species while enjoying the park's breathtaking landscapes and excellent photography opportunities. After your morning safari, exit the park at 12:00 PM, and begin your journey back to Nairobi with a stop en route for a self-sponsored lunch.
You are expected to arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or preferred location, marking the end of your memorable Tsavo East National Park safari.
