After an early breakfast at 7:00 AM, check out of your lodge and embark on a morning game drive through the diverse landscapes of Tsavo West National Park. Explore some of the park's most iconic attractions, including the crystal-clear Mzima Springs, volcanic lava flows, rolling hills, and acacia woodlands, all of which provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.
During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to see:
- African elephants, including the famous red-dust elephants of Tsavo
- Lions, leopards, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas
- Buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, and other antelope species
- Hippos and crocodiles at the crystal-clear Mzima Springs
- A rich variety of birdlife across forests, wetlands, and open savannah
Your experienced guide will make strategic stops for wildlife viewing and photography while sharing fascinating insights into the park's unique volcanic landscape, wildlife, and conservation efforts. The morning hours provide excellent opportunities to observe wildlife in their most active period while enjoying the spectacular scenery that makes Tsavo West one of Kenya's most picturesque national parks. After your morning safari, exit the park at 12:00 PM, and begin your journey back to Nairobi with a stop en route for a self-sponsored lunch.
You are expected to arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or preferred location, marking the end of your memorable Tsavo West National Park safari.
