Tsavo West offers a striking contrast with its diverse scenery of rolling green hills, acacia woodlands, and volcanic formations. Highlights include the crystal-clear Mzima Springs, the eerie Shetani Lava Flows, and the dramatic Chaimu crater. Spanning 9,065 square kilometers, it is one of Kenya's largest parks and a haven for wildlife.

A short stop will be made en route for refreshments and washroom use before proceeding with the safari.

Tsavo West is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, rolling volcanic hills, lava flows, and dense vegetation, offering a more rugged and scenic safari experience. You will arrive at your camp/lodge in good time for lunch. After check-in and some time to relax, you will head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the park in search of wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and predators including lions and leopards. You will later return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for a full day of game viewing within Tsavo West National Park. The day’s exploration will include visits to some of the park’s most iconic attractions such as the Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters flow from underground lava rocks and offer sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and fish, as well as the Shetani Lava Flows, a striking reminder of the park’s volcanic history.

Tsavo West is also famous for its scenic beauty and diverse wildlife, including elephants, rhinos (within protected sanctuaries), buffaloes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a wide variety of bird species. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot inside the park before continuing with afternoon game drives across different habitats, from open savannah to rocky outcrops and riverine vegetation. Later in the afternoon, you will return to your camp/lodge to relax and enjoy the facilities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.

On your final day, you will enjoy your breakfast and check out from the camp/lodge. You will then depart the park and proceed back to Nairobi via the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, with a brief stop along the way for a self-sponsored lunch.
